That idea stuck with me as I reflected on a recent project of my own. The bottom line:
The faster you can get your ideas from your mind, to a document, to in front of the right people, the faster you’ll make an impact.

Last week, I had a call with Stan, a platform that empowers creators. The conversation was about my Savage System Playbook, a project I had been actively working on for weeks.
During our call, they shared something that stuck with me. They had seen me speak at an event 18 months ago and still remembered how it made them feel.
That hit me hard. It reminded me of the power of moving ideas into action and the impact they can have on others.
They also laid out a strategy to complete the playbook that was so simple and results-driven that I knew it would work. It wasn’t just a plan, it was a call to action.
Plus, I knew this playbook would help more people, especially since I’m not coaching as much as I used to.
I also wanted to lead by example: This is what happens when you quickly turn ideas into action.
So, I sprinted.
For two days, I got up at 4 a.m., fueled by excitement to finish. (No, I’m not saying this is sustainable—but for this sprint, it was worth it.)
By Thursday morning, the playbook was done.
By Friday, I had the final design.
That same night, the first copies were sold, and people were already sharing their results.
Here’s what I learned: It didn’t need to take weeks. It just needed to get done.
Now, I ask myself this question, borrowed from Tim Ferriss:
“What would this look like if it were easier?”
When you strip away the unnecessary, focus on completion, and move quickly, you open the door to momentum and impact.
This isn’t just about entrepreneurs.
Whether you’re growing your influence at work, impressing your boss, or bringing a bold idea to life, speed matters.
Ask yourself:
What’s one idea or project you’ve been working on that could create a meaningful impact if you simply finished it?
Want to supercharge it?
After identifying your project, use this ChatGPT prompt:
“What steps should I take to finish [project name] within a week, and how can I make the process easier?”
And sure, a week may be too ambitious for your project, but you can still share a shorter timeline than expected.
Either way, here’s the point. Momentum often starts with one decision.
