Less, But Better. How to Get More Done in Less Time

I can’t get this quote out of my mind.

I recently came across an incredible insight from Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast—YouTube’s biggest creator and a master of exponential growth.

    During an interview, he explained:
“The difference between a video that goes viral and one that doesn’t is just another round of revisions. You just have to try a bit harder. A 10% better video doesn’t get you 10% more views. It gets you 400% more. Once you understand that, you funnel your energy better.”

In other words, that extra 10%—whether it’s one more round of revisions or finding one more way to add value—can deliver 10x the results.

If you’re a hardworking person, this is your advantage. That willingness to try just a bit harder is often the difference between good and extraordinary.

    My 10% Moment

This insight hit me as I was wrapping up my Savage System Playbook—a step-by-step guide to uncovering your purpose, designing bold goals, and building unstoppable systems for success.

Technically, it was done. The guide, the AI prompts, the workbook, the explainer video; it was all there.

But then I asked myself, “Where’s that 10%? What’s one thing I could add that would give me exponential results?”

That’s when I thought of you, the readers of this newsletter.

In a previous issue, I shared my exact routine for getting more out of my day, a routine crafted with the help of ChatGPT and my Savage System. The response was overwhelming.

Hundreds of you engaged with it, and your feedback blew me away. That same routine is now helping me hit my sleep, fitness, and professional goals with greater consistency.

Then it hit me: What if I shared the output of completing the Savage System Playbook?

Sure, it would take effort. I’d need to create another document, format it, and make it cohesive. But since I was already using the system myself, it was mostly a matter of copying and pasting what I’d already done.

And that’s exactly what I did.

It took about three hours, roughly 10% of the total time I’d already spent on the playbook. And it was absolutely worth it.

    Here’s My Savage Game Plan

This is the game plan you get after completing the Savage System Playbook:

    • Who Am I? A clear definition of your identity.
    • My Life’s Task: Your unique purpose and how to align with it.
    • 12-Month Milestones: Concrete steps to achieve your vision.
    • 7-Day Action Plan: Immediate steps to build momentum toward your goals.
    • Your Ideal Daily Schedule: A framework to balance commitments and maximize progress.
    • Letter from Your Future Self: Motivation and clarity from the version of you who’s already achieved your boldest goals.

Take a look at the game plan I created for my life, it’s a glimpse of what you’ll receive too.

    Where’s Your 10%?

Here’s the thing. That extra 10% could be a game-changer.

    • Finding an extra hour each week to work on your business or side hustle.
    • Getting more sleep so you can wake up as the best version of yourself.
    • Taking one more pass on a project to add the finishing touch that makes it shine.

Here’s a prompt to help you figure it out:
“What’s one thing I’m already doing that, with 10% more effort, could deliver exponential results?”

When I went through this exercise, I landed on an exciting project: the CrossFit Kids academy I’m starting at my gym.

    Supercharge It with AI

Once you have your insight, run it through this AI prompt:
“Here’s a project I’m working on: [brief description]. What specific steps can I take to improve it by 10%, and how can those steps amplify my results?”

This process will help you identify small but impactful actions that unlock bigger outcomes.

For my CrossFit Kids academy, one of the suggestions was to add parent-kid challenges. I might regret it, but I’m going for it!

Plus, I know it will be a fun way to keep the parents engaged, which will keep the kids coming back.

That’s the power of asking where your 10% is, it’s often the small tweaks that create exponential impact.

    Remember: Less but Better

If you’re giving an extra 10%, make sure you’re taking it away from something less impactful. This isn’t about hustling harder; it’s about designing a life of purpose, freedom, and impact.

The world doesn’t need perfect people. It needs action-takers.

    Your move.

    Stay Savage,
    Terry
