    When I first started my business, I joined the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce.

    Part of me was in it for the networking. Part of me just wanted to feel like an “official business.”

    So I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I spent two weeks cold emailing 400 local business owners from the chamber directory.

    Pick one and ask yourself: “What valuable topic could I present to their audience that showcases my expertise?”

    Create a compelling talk title, key takeaways, and a brief description. Then make your pitch.

    The people who get this right don’t just grow faster, they skip the cold outreach grind entirely.
