I’ve consistently touted LinkedIn as one of the best ways to build your network, brand, and revenue.

But, here’s where I messed up:

I never provided you with a way to achieve these business objectives in a time-efficient manner.

I’m going to address that oversight today so you can build your following and influence on LinkedIn even faster.

Before we hop into that I want to quickly share another way you can grow faster and with less uncertainty, the HeyCreator Summit.

This free summit is the perfect opportunity for you to learn from the best minds in audience growth, content development, and building a business on your own terms.

Speakers include Justin Welsh, Pat Flynn, Jay Clouse, and you’ll be hearing from me as well.

    And now, let’s get started.

How to Create the Perfect LinkedIn Feed

    Situation:

You know LinkedIn provides an excellent opportunity to build a professional network.

And, you may also know that one of the best ways to build your network is by commenting on posts from potential partners or clients.

This is how you start conversations that lead to relationships as opposed to simply sending a connection request.

    Complication:

With so much noise in the LinkedIn newsfeed it’s challenging – and time consuming – to find the signal, the specific people you want to interact with.

As a result, you may get frustrated and give up.

    Question:

How can you curate your feed to only see the right content from the right people?

    Answer:

Create a filtered list that will allow you to only see content from specific people in your newsfeed.

    This can include:

    • Potential partners or prospects
    • Journalists who work for media outlets you’d like to be featured in
    • Podcasts hosts who already have access to your audience and may be interested in your story

Here’s how to make it happen, I’ll give you two options ⤵️

    1. Just watch this video. I can explain it a lot faster.

    2. Follow this process.

Step 1: Click the search bar on LinkedIn and just click the “Enter” button on your keyboard

Step 2: Click the “Posts” button

Step 3: Click “All Filters” on the right hand side

Step 4: Scroll down to where it says “From Member”

Step 5: Enter the names of people you want to see in your feed

    Step 6: Click “Show Results”

That’s it. Now your LinkedIn feed will only show posts from the individuals you selected.

    Your turn.

Start by getting clear on who you want to form a relationship with and why.

Then, add them to your curated list and block off time every day to comment on their posts.

And if you want to hear more from me on LinkedIn, please add me to your list!
